Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 January 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services provided by Fixed.ie. By submitting a service request through our website or by email, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

“Fixed.ie”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Fixed.ie, a WordPress repair service operated from 42 Pearse Street, Dublin, D02 YX88, Ireland.

“Client”, “you”, and “your” refer to the individual or business entity requesting our services.

“Fix” or “Service” refers to the diagnosis and resolution of a single, discrete WordPress problem as described in your service request.

“Site” refers to the WordPress website that is the subject of the service request.

2. Scope of Services

Fixed.ie provides WordPress troubleshooting and repair services. Each service engagement covers one specific WordPress problem. Examples of a single fix include, but are not limited to: malware removal, speed optimisation, white screen of death resolution, plugin conflict resolution, update failure recovery, and SSL or domain configuration fixes.

If your site has multiple unrelated problems, each will be treated as a separate fix and priced accordingly. We will always inform you of this before beginning work and obtain your agreement to proceed.

Our services do not include: ongoing website maintenance, website redesign or development, content creation, SEO campaigns, hosting migration (unless specifically agreed), or any work that falls outside the scope of fixing a discrete WordPress problem.

3. Pricing and Payment

The price for each fix is €99 plus VAT at the prevailing Irish rate (currently 23%, making the total €121.77 inclusive of VAT). This is a flat rate. There are no additional charges for diagnosis, urgency, or complexity.

Payment is due upon completion of the fix and your confirmation that the problem has been resolved. We will issue an invoice by email. Payment may be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.

Late payments may be subject to interest at the rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance, in accordance with the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations 2012.

4. No Fix, No Fee Guarantee

If we are unable to resolve the specific WordPress problem described in your service request, you will not be charged. This guarantee applies to the specific issue you reported. It does not apply if:

  • The problem is resolved but you are unsatisfied for reasons unrelated to the fix (for example, you dislike the appearance of your site, which was not part of the reported issue).
  • You withdraw access to your site before we have had a reasonable opportunity to complete the fix.
  • The problem requires work that falls outside the scope of a single fix (for example, a complete site rebuild), in which case we will inform you and no charge will apply for the assessment.

5. Access Requirements

To perform our services, we require temporary access to your WordPress site. This typically means WordPress administrator credentials, or alternatively FTP, SFTP, or hosting panel access. You are responsible for providing accurate access credentials in a timely manner.

We recommend creating a temporary administrator account for our use and deleting it or changing the password after the fix is complete. We treat all access credentials as confidential and delete them from our records within 7 days of completing the service.

Any delays caused by incorrect or insufficient access credentials may affect our ability to provide same-day service.

6. Backups and Data

We create a backup of your site before making any changes. This backup is retained for 30 days following the completion of the fix, after which it is securely deleted. While we take every reasonable precaution, you are strongly encouraged to maintain your own independent backups.

We are not responsible for any data loss that occurs due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to hosting provider failures, pre-existing corruption, or actions taken by third parties.

7. Warranty

Every fix comes with a 30-day warranty. If the exact same problem we fixed recurs within 30 days of the completion date, we will resolve it again at no additional cost. This warranty covers only the specific issue that was the subject of the original fix. It does not cover:

  • New or unrelated problems.
  • Problems caused by changes you or a third party make to the site after our fix.
  • Problems caused by new plugin or theme updates applied after our fix.
  • Problems arising from hosting changes or server modifications.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with any fix shall not exceed the fee paid for that fix (€99 + VAT). We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business, or business interruption, however caused and under any theory of liability.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by Irish law.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in your website content, design, and data remains yours. We claim no ownership over your site or its contents. Any scripts, configurations, or code we add or modify as part of the fix become part of your site and you are free to use, modify, or remove them as you see fit.

10. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts. Our Privacy Policy sets out in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel your service request at any time before we begin work, at no charge. If you cancel after we have begun work but before the fix is complete, we may charge for the work completed up to the point of cancellation, at our discretion. If we have already completed the fix, the full fee applies.

We reserve the right to decline a service request if we believe the work falls outside the scope of our services, or if we are unable to obtain the access or information needed to proceed.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@fixed.ie so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. We are committed to treating our clients fairly and resolving any issues promptly.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page with the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
